Start with the traffic
Hard polyurethane forklift wheels concentrate load into a small contact patch and punish thin coatings, especially at turning points and dock thresholds.
Map the routes before specifying: main aisles, turning circles, dock aprons and pick faces usually need a heavier build than the quiet perimeter.

The substrate decides the outcome
Coatings do not fix concrete. Moisture in the slab, laitance, oil contamination and cracking all have to be dealt with by mechanical preparation and the right primer.
Where a slab has no working damp-proof membrane, that has to be designed around; ignoring it is the most common reason an industrial floor fails early.
Plan the shutdown honestly
Preparation, priming, coating and cure all need floor time, and cure times move with temperature and humidity.
Phasing bay by bay usually keeps a site operating, but it adds joints and programme time. We would rather set that expectation in the quote than discover it mid-installation.
